The Men's Ministry exists to edify and encourage men to follow Christ's example of holiness and evangelism.
Opportunities include: bible studies, work projects, men's retreats, wild game dinner, Knights of the Lord's Table.

The Ladies' Ministry of First Baptist Church seeks to include women of all ages for times of corporate fellowships,
ladies' retreats, Bible studies, mentoring, and smaller fellowships at activities at the church, as well as outside
of the church.

We love kids here at FBCR! We offer age appropriate ministries from infant through grade school during all of our regularly scheduled services. This includes a fully staffed Nursery and Preschool. Sunday morning, we have children’s Sunday School and Children’s Church. Kids have their own music ministries on Wednesday evenings and our Sunday night Awana Club is one of the best in the state! We also have seasonal events like Vacation Bible School and our kid-oriented Family Fun Night in July! Parents will also want to know that every children’s worker at FBCR is required to go through an approval process and attend an annual review. |
FBCR is committed to today’s teens, the next Generation! It is our desire to share God’s Word with students,
helping them make their faith their own. We have Junior and Senior High Sunday School, AWANA Trek and Journey,
Wednesday youth group and activities and fellowships to help students learn and grow. Our goal is that they connect
with other Believers and have opportunities to serve others!

Inreach/Outreach Ministries |
Music in our church plays a vital role in the worship of our Lord. Many venues of service are available for virtually every age.
- Voices of Praise- High School age through senior adult, men and ladies
- Vocal ensembles- mixed, men’s, ladies, girls
- Orchestra- Junior High School age through senior adult
- Instrumental ensembles- brass quintet, flutes, saxophones, trumpets
- Handbells- children’s and adult groups
- Children’s Choir- for elementary age students
- Christmas Musicals- adult and children’s vocal and drama presentations
- Easter Musical- adult vocal and drama presentation
- Solos, duets, trios (vocal and instrumental)

There are a number of ways to be involved in Inreach/Outreach at FBCR. Evangelistic outreach events include
the Christmas Musical, Christmas Eve Candlelight Service, Good Friday, Easter Cantata, Annual Family Outdoor Seminar
and Wild Game Dinner, and the Rochester Christmas Parade (annually entering a float).
We partner with Women and Teens Crisis Pregnancy Center in Pontiac through several benevolent project a year,
server meals once a month at Grace Centers of Hope, conduct a service at Sanctuary at Bellbrook Retirement Community
the 4th Sunday of the month and support Rochester Area Neighborhood House.
Other Inreach/Outreach ministries are church-wide dinner fellowships, coffee fellowship, the Bread Ministry
(fresh baked bread for first time guests, greeters and the Welcome Center. You are encouraged to see where
you can minister in our Inreach/Outreach ministry.
